How to create a partition(drive) in windows without formatting :-
Hi,,,guys i know so many of us know how to do partion(drive) by formatting but now u can do partion without formatting Without using any software and application, firstly make sure your local disk have been backup before create new partition.
and guy its really easy,,,
Procedure
:-
1. Go to Control Panel and select Administrative Tools then click icon Computer Management.
2. Click on Disk Management and right click on existing partition.
4. Enter the amount of space to shrink to create a new partition.
5. Shrink and exit the wizard after completion you will see new partition is available in your My computer.
or there is one more trick to make partion without formatting,,,using a software,,

Windows 7 built-in disk management added shrinking and extending function. when there is no unallocated space on the disk, you can srhink one partition and create a ew one. You can aslo split one partition into two http://extend-partition.com/resource/how-to-make-a-partition.html
